CYRIL DESSEL: “Trying to thwart the sprinters’ plans”

“Whether we’re talking the Brussels Cycling Classic or the Grand Prix de Fourmies, the sprinters are expecting to have a party. In Belgium, we will be riding for Oliver and given his good form, we can expect an aggressive race to disrupt the sprint teams. In Fourmies, for Benoît the goal will be to take some points in view of the overall classification of the Coupe de France. He can win the trophy, and this will be the goal for the end of the season.”CYRIL DESSEL

Having won three rounds of the Coupe de France, Paris-Camembert, the Grand Prix of Plumelec and Polynormande, Benoît Cosnefroy is in second place overall just 11 points behind leader Marc Sarreau. AG2R LA MONDIALE leads the provisional team classification, 9 points ahead of Arkea-Samsic.
