LILIAN CALMEJANE

29 years old / 12 professional wins
1st participation

"Lilian is an experienced rider who will be able to bring his know-how to the group and especially to Felix. He will be an important part of the team, especially in the quest for a stage win. He will be targeting the hilly profiles that suit his qualities."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

MIKAËL CHÉREL

36 years old
4th participation
Best result : 10th of stage (2011)

"Mikaël is participating in his sixteenth grand tour. His experience and his qualities in the mountains will be essential alongside Felix. He will be able to help and advise the team, but also play his card on some stages to get his first professional victory."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

FÉLIX GALL

24 years old
1st participation
"Félix is the best surprise of the season for the AG2R CITROËN team. He has shown that he has great potential in stage races with good recovery qualities. He will be our sole leader for the general classification. However, this is his first grand tour and therefore his first experience of managing a three-week race. He will be aiming for a top 15 overall and depending on the opportunities, a stage win."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

JAAKKO HÄNNINEN

25 years old
2nd participation

"Jaakko has had an eventful start to the season with health problems and crashes. We hope to see him regain his confidence throughout the Giro and the physical qualities that will allow him to play up front on certain stages. He will also be an important part of the team around Felix."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

LAWRENCE NAESEN

29 years old
2nd participation
Best result : 8th of stage (2021)

"Lawrence replaces Clément Berthet, who suffered a broken collarbone in the Tour of the Alps. Even though he hasn't had the ideal preparation for a grand tour, he will have a key role in protecting Felix on the flat and tricky stages and will be able to play his card on some sprints."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

NANS PETERS

28 years old / 2 professional wins
2nd participation
Best result: stage win (2019)

"Nans has done a good preparation with a training course in altitude at Etna. The Giro d'Italia is his big goal at the beginning of the season. It will be a valuable rider around Felix but also to go for a stage win as he did in 2019."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

NICOLAS PRODHOMME

25 years old
1st participation

"Nicolas is a young rider. He will discover the Giro d'Italia after the Vuelta a Espana in 2021 where he had a nice top 10 on a stage. His climbing skills will be interesting to accompany Felix but also to slip into the breakaway on steep stages."[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size="1/2″][/su_column] [su_quote cite=]

ANDREA VENDRAME

27 years old / 4 professional wins
5th participation
Best result: stage win (2020)

"Andrea is the rider of the team who knows the Giro d'Italia best. His knowledge of the terrain will be an asset for the team. He has the qualities of a puncher that can allow him to lift his arms in sprints in small groups but also in breakaways like his victory last year."[/su_quote]
