La Vuelta a Espana (11th étape) François Bidard 5th

FRANÇOIS BIDARD : “I wanted to win.”

“After finishing sixth in one Giro stage and then third at the Tour de Suisse, I wanted to win today. Of course, I am a bit disappointed. I was not missing it by much. The finish was very tactical and everyone was looking at each other.
The final downhill was not necessarily what suited me best. There are still some nice stages to come, and the team will try again. The goal is for one of us to win a stage.”FRANÇOIS BIDARD
