2022 has been marked by a highly turbulent economic, social and ecological situation, plunging us into a permanently uncertain environment. In such a context, it seems more important than ever to us to continue to make the French dream thanks to the fervor and enthusiasm that only sport can create.
As the 2023 cycling season approaches, I have every confidence that the AG2R CITROËN team, strengthened by a new generation of riders directly from the training program, will shine and unite both our employees and all our fellow citizens.
Together, we have written a common history, unique in the peloton by its longevity. Together, we have achieved a common project, both sporting and human, placed under the sign of the flagship values that are the strength of the team and performance.
The story between AG2R LA MONDIALE and the team has recently reached a new major step. We have decided to strengthen our ties with the acquisition last June by the Group of France Cyclisme. Our desire is to maintain this magnificent cycling team at the highest world level and to accompany it in its future challenges.
As the year 2023 begins with its traditional wishes and resolutions, we pledge to keep this promise: together we are stronger and we will not give up!
Bruno Angles, CEO of AG2R LA MONDIALE
As we enter our third year of partnership with Vincent Lavenu's cycling team, alongside AG2R LA MONDIALE, we are truly proud of the progress we have made.
AG2R CITROËN TEAM achieved several important victories in the major international events in 2022, notably in the Tour de France where resilience, fighting spirit and team spirit reigned. It was also a year marked by the 30th anniversary of Vincent Lavenu's team, thirty years of fighting spirit at the highest level to make French cycling shine.
At the dawn of this new season, we are confident about the team's potential and we are sure to see them shine once again in all national and international competitions. This third year of partnership will also be an opportunity to strengthen the link with the public, to continue to share the values that unite us with riders : audacity, performance and team spirit, and to celebrate this passion for cycling on all the roads of the great races.
