Vincent Lavenu
"A beautiful battle in the mountains"
"This 2023 Tour de France has a fairly balanced profile with stages for sprinters but also a very nice playground for climbers. There will not be many kilometers of time trials, which suggests a good battle in the mountains. Our region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will be honored. It is always an essential passage but there are some novelties like the return to the Puy de Dome. It is symbolic. The AG2R CITROËN team is part of this type of Tour de France with riders like Ben O'Connor or Aurélien Paret-Peintre. The 2022 edition was not easy with crashes and the Covid-19. We hope to find our potential next year and achieve a Tour like the one in 2021."
