Tour de Romandie: Ben O’Connor takes 6th overall

Ben O’Connor : “Happy with the result”

“I lost the podium today but I am still happy with the final result. I have been racing in UCI WorldTour since 2017 and this is the first time that I have finished in the top ten in a stage race of this level. Since the beginning of the season, I have been feeling good with the AG2R CITROËN team and that just increases today. I feel that I have accomplished something, and it makes me happy. I will now take a little break before I head off to a training camp in order to prepare for my first Tour de France. I should return to competition on May 24th at the Mercantour Classic.”
