Clément Venturini: "Finish on a high note

"After a short cyclo-cross interlude in Boulzicourt, I'm looking forward to the last two race numbers of the season on the road and I would love to finish on a good note.
The Tour de Vendée is a tough race with a difficult finish, which I like.
The objective will be to play the victory before thinking about the French cup.
This ranking was not an objective at all at the beginning of the season but little by little it has become a common thread. Victory seems very difficult given Julien Simon's lead, but it would be interesting for the AG2R CITROËN team to get on the podium. Even if only the victory counts, it would be a small sign of satisfaction. Performing well in the French Cup is synonymous with consistency.
Paris-Tours (October 9) will be the last race of the year after that. It's a race that I like and where everything is possible with some riders who want to, others who don't and a course that is conducive to a disjointed scenario. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do at the end of the season with the team."[/su_quote]

The number: 1

Clément Venturini won the Boulzicourt Ardennes international cyclo-cross (UCI C2) on Sunday, September 25.
He will participate in several cyclo-cross races this winter, including the French championships (January 15) and, subject to selection, the world championships (February 5) in Hoogerheide (Netherlands).
The rest of his calendar is not yet definitive.
