BENOIT COSNEFROY: "We took our responsibilities".
"Before the start, I had checked off this stage. I knew that it was the perfect match for me. Today, the team took its responsibilities to put me in the best conditions. At the end, I had a crazy job from my friends, on the final I just had to finish the job. It was like a blackboard, we couldn't imagine anything better. I am happy to win on this type of effort which suits me. Yesterday, I was in a breakaway during the mountain stage and I didn't have a great feeling. I really wanted to win and this is my third victory of the season. It is important for the team, it shows the way to everyone. On a collective level, what we accomplished today gives me more than satisfaction. Despite a very long break, we quickly found our automatisms." [/su_quote]

Stéphan Goubert's assessment
"After the altitude training sessions, we knew we would be there, but not necessarily in the top tier. Yesterday, during the mountain stage, the guys already surprised me. Clément Venturini during the sprints and Romain Bardet had already shown great things during the first stages. Our objective during this Tour d'Occitane was to find our automatisms, we can leave satisfied and Benoît's victory crowns it all. Everyone played the game, we were a great team and that's what I want to remember.
