Benoit Cosnefroy : “Everyone worked really well”
“We did not take the initiative too much today; it was not the day to try to overthrow the general classification. But in the final, we took things in hand, and everyone worked really well to protect me and put me in a good position. Before the finish, there was a small climb of 200 meters, and after that the sprint was flat. I don’t think I could have done much better considering. I did manage to take a few bonus seconds, which is the main thing. And tomorrow is a big day that could be decisive.”BENOIT COSNEFROY
After this second consecutive podium, Benoît Cosnefroy remains in third place overall and the best young rider. He is ten seconds behind the overall leader, Lilian Calmejane.
