GEOFFREY BOUCHARD : “Make the most of the great team dynamic”
“After Australia and the Santos Tour Down Under, I had to recover from jet lag. It was a great experience that allowed me to learn a lot of things, especially about adapting to the heat. I am satisfied because I felt that my form was increasingly on the rise. The team has a good dynamic and I hope that we will make the most of it at Trofeo Laigueglia. We are coming with a team tailored to perform. And we certainly will be motivated. Then I’m going to head to races that should suit me like the UAE Tour, the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. I hope to get there and have some good results in order to know which Grand Tour I will take part in this season. Winning the King of the Mountains at the 2019 Vuelta a Espana made me feel more confident, but that didn’t change my ambitions.
In cycling, the goal is to win races, either individually or collectively.”GEOFFREY BOUCHARD
With 1174 kilometers on the clock, Geoffrey Bouchard along with Andrea Vendrame, Clément Chevrier, and Ben Gastauer, are the riders on the AG2R LA MONDIALE team who have ridden the most kilometers in races so far this season.
