Valentin Retailleau second in the 4th stage of the Vuelta a Burgos

Valentin Retailleau : « Very happy with this result »

« I am a little disappointed to come so close to a first victory among the professionals but at the same time very happy with this result. It wasn’t missing much. The victory of Bastien (Tronchon) yesterday inspired me and I wanted to imitate him today. The wink would have been really nice to win one stage right after the other, but it’s still a great performance.
I am satisfied with my day in the breakaway and with my physical condition. It’s my first professional race as a neo-pro (he’s been a professional since August 1, 2022) so it’s encouraging for the future. »Valentin
