"We arrive at the start of the Vuelta a Espana with an ambitious team. The number 1 objective will be to win stages. We want to make it three by winning every grand tour this season. We already achieved this in 2006 and 2021. This time, Aurélien Paret-Peintre at the Giro d'Italia and Felix Gall at the Tour de France have shown us the way. Now it's up to us! The course of this ^78th edition is conducive to movement races. We'll have to be bold and opportunistic to slip into the breakaways and raise our arms.

"Mikael will retire at the end of this Vuelta a Espana. It will obviously be a special moment for him, as well as for the whole AG2R CITROËN team. He'll be our road captain. "Damien knows the Vuelta a Espana inside out. He's a boy who knows how to unite a team with his sense of sacrifice. He's proved it since the start of the season by always being dedicated to his leaders. He will be invaluable in guiding Dorian Godon and Andrea Vendrame through the sprint finishes. He will also have the opportunity to play his card on certain stages."

"Along with Mikael Cherel, Larry will be our road captain. He's a boy who climbs very well. He prepared for this Vuelta a Espana by starting at high-altitude training camp. He arrives at the start in very good condition. He'll have a lot to play for in the mountain stages, where he'll be able to slip into the breakaways.
